Back to the future! Verner Panton, one of Danish design's most daring and beloved, began working with Louis Poulson to create lighting in 1957. The curvalicious Panthella, designed in 1971, has since become one of his most popular and everlasting products. The recognizable, soft, organic shape of the table lamp is not only beautiful but also functional, with a hemispherical shade that directs light downward onto the trumpet shaped base that reflects the light back out in a uniform glow. The Panthella 160 Portable is a petite and portable version of the classic Verner Panton design, with a shade that is just 160 mm (6.3 inches) in diameter. It is perfect for use around the home, on top of a little stack of book, at a bedside, or in the nook of an etagere.
