Back to the future! Verner Panton, one of Danish design's most daring and beloved, began working with Louis Poulson to create lighting in 1957. The curvalicious Panthella, designed in 1971, has since become one of his most popular and everlasting products. The recognizable, soft, organic shape of the table lamp is not only beautiful but also functional, with a hemispherical shade that directs light downward onto the trumpet shaped base that reflects the light back out in a uniform glow. The Panthella 250 Table Lamp is a downscaled edition of Verner Panton’s popular Panthella Table lamp, with a compact 250 mm (9.8 inches) shade diameter and 335 mm (13.1 inches) height, makes for easy placement on windowsills, shelves, or tables. 

The Panthella 250 emits a glare-free, soft and comfortable illumination. The metal shade versions direct the light directly downwards and create a pleasant illumination due to the inner white painted shade and the reflection from the trumpet-shaped stem. The opal acrylic versions produce a diffused, comfortable light due to the translucent shade, the downward reflection from the inner shade and the reflection from the trumpet-shaped stem.
